1. What We Collect
- Account details: name, email, organisation name, and role when you sign up or are invited.
- Bookkeeping data you enter: customers, suppliers, invoices, bills, journals and reports for your organisation.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, and device needed to run the service and keep it secure.
- Tax calculator usage: page views, which calculator tab was used, and that a calculation ran. Amounts you type are not stored in usage logs.
2. How We Use It
We use this information to provide BantuAccounts, bill subscriptions, send service notices, prevent abuse, and understand whether public tools such as the tax calculator are being used. We do not sell your books or contact lists.
3. Sharing
We share data with processors who host, send email, or take payment on our behalf, and when the law requires it. Invited members of your organisation can see the books you grant them.
4. Retention
Organisation data is kept while the workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can export or restore it where the product allows. You may ask us to close an organisation and delete personal data we no longer need to keep for law or dispute purposes.
5. Your Rights
Subject to the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] and other applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Contact us via bantuaccounts.com.
